Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Trinity, FL

Your Secret Weapon

We’ve all heard that the best way to fix something is to go straight to the source. In the world of aesthetics, the ultimate source isn't a synthetic filler or a complicated chemical. It’s actually flowing through your veins right now. At ReGenesis Wellness and Medspa, we’re big believers in using your own biology to hit the reset button on your skin. PRP therapy is our way of taking the most powerful healing elements from your own blood and focusing them exactly where you need a boost. Whether you’re dealing with the Trinity sun’s toll on your skin or noticing a little more hair in the brush than usual, PRP is like a natural wake-up call for your cells.

Nature’s Liquid Gold

What is PRP?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a concentrated sample of your blood to trigger tissue repair. After a small blood sample is drawn, we use a medical-grade centrifuge to separate your plasma and platelets from other blood components like red blood cells. What’s left is a serum packed with growth factors and proteins that stimulate collagen production and speed up the healing process. Because it’s 100% autologous (meaning it comes from your own body), it’s a pure, effective way to achieve facial rejuvenation without the use of synthetic chemicals.

Why We Recommend

PRP Benefits

We love PRP because it doesn't mask an issue. It actually helps improve healing at a cellular level. It’s a cornerstone of regenerative medicine that offers some pretty incredible perks:

  • Safe and Natural: Since it uses your own blood, there’s no risk of an allergic reaction or rejection.
  • Versatile Healing: It works for everything from fine lines to hair loss and even tendon injuries or muscle injuries in some medical contexts.
  • Long-Lasting Results: While it takes a little time for new collagen to build, the noticeable results can last 12 months or longer.
  • Enhanced Healing: The clotting factors and white blood cells in the plasma help support wound healing and tissue healing naturally.

The Boost You're Looking For

PRP Candidates

Many patients in the Trinity area are good candidates for platelet-rich plasma therapy. It’s a favorite for:

  • Aging Skin: If you want younger-looking skin without synthetic fillers.
  • Hair Thinning: Men and women looking to support and strengthen their hair follicles.
  • Dark Circles: Anyone tired of looking exhausted due to thin skin under the eyes.
  • Scarring: Patients looking to smooth out old acne scars or damaged tissue.

We’ll check your overall health during your evaluation to make sure your blood components are healthy and ready to work.

The Real-Deal

What PRP addresses

We use PRP injections and topical applications to tackle a variety of skin and hair concerns.

Under-Eye Rejuvenation

The skin under your eyes is some of the thinnest on your body. Platelet-rich plasma injections help thicken this area, reducing the transparency that causes dark circles and smoothing out fine wrinkles.

Hair Restoration

For those struggling with thinning, PRP injections injected directly into the scalp deliver growth factors that wake up dormant follicles. It’s an effective way to encourage growth and improve hair density over several months.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

By boosting collagen, PRP therapy helps fill fine lines from the inside out. It’s a great way to get a smoother complexion without that frozen look.

Acne Scars & Texture

When PRP is used on acne scars, the growth factors help the body remodel the damaged tissue, leading to a much smoother surface over time.

PRP with SkinPen® Microneedling

Often called a vampire facial, this minimally invasive procedure uses microneedling to create tiny channels so the platelet-rich plasma can soak deep into the tissues. It’s the ultimate duo for optimal results.

Setting You Up For Success

Prep and Consultation

Your treatment starts with a clinical evaluation supervised by Dr. Tanya Perich. We’ll chat about your goals and make sure your body is ready for the process. We might ask you to avoid certain medications or anti-inflammatories for a week before your appointment, as we want your natural inflammatory response to be ready to jumpstart the healing.

How We Do It

PRP Procedure

The PRP preparation is a precise medical protocol. First, we’ll take a small blood sample, similar to a standard lab draw. While we spin your whole blood in our centrifuge to isolate the platelets, we’ll apply a numbing cream to the treated area. Once the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is ready, it is injected directly or applied topically. You might feel a little pressure or warmth at the injection site, but discomfort is usually very limited.

PRP treatments at ReGenesis are performed by a licensed medical professional under the supervision of Dr. Tanya Perich, Board-Certified Ophthalmologist & Oculoplastic Surgeon, in collaboration with Sarai Bernal, Licensed Aesthetician & Board-Certified Electrologist, and Debi Butler, Licensed Aesthetician. You'll always be in the hands of someone with experience, passion, and a knack for keeping you safe and comfortable.

No Time to Waste

Recovery and Aftercare

You don’t have to press pause on your life. You’ll likely have some swelling or mild pain at the injection site for the first week, but you can return to daily activities almost immediately. We’ll give you simple tips for the following weeks to make sure the plasma has the best environment to work its magic.

The Big Reveal

PRP Results

While you might see a glow right away, the initial results of tissue repair really start to show after about three to four weeks. The healing process continues for several months as your body builds new collagen. Most patients see the best outcome after a series of three treatments, spaced about a month apart.

The Price of PRP

PRP Cost

The cost of PRP treatment varies depending on the area we’re treating, like the scalp or the full face. Since we use a high-caliber medical-grade centrifuge and have a Board-Certified Oculoplastic Surgeon supervising, you’re paying for a higher level of safety and efficacy than a standard spa.

Revive, Rejuvenate, ReGenesis

Why Choose ReGenesis Wellness and Medspa?

We don’t believe in spa-grade PRP. At ReGenesis, your procedure is handled by licensed professionals, Sarai Bernal or Debi Butler, under the medical supervision of Dr. Tanya Perich. We use sterile, closed-system centrifuges to ensure your plasma is as concentrated as possible. We prioritize your health and the science of healing over everything else.

Note from Sarai Bernal: The liquid gold in the plasma is only as good as the process used to get it. If you spin the blood too fast or too slow, you can damage the cells or end up with too many red blood cells in the mix. We use a specific double-spin method to make sure your PRP is the perfect amber color, packed with the platelets you need for real tissue healing.

Yes! Because it’s 100% autologous (from your own body), there’s no risk of rejection or allergic reactions. It’s about as natural as a medical treatment can get.

We use a strong numbing cream for all PRP injections. You might feel a little pressure, but many patients find the discomfort to be very limited.

Once you finish your initial series, results can last a year or more. We usually recommend a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months to keep those growth factors working.

Absolutely. We often use the SkinPen® to create channels so the platelet-rich plasma can reach the deep tissues for even better results.

Very little. You might look a little pink or have some mild swelling for 24–72 hours, but it shouldn't stop you from your daily activities.
